Tackling the illegal use of off-road motorcycles remains a priority on the Bardon Beat due to the significant impact they have on local residents and the risk they pose to public safety. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️⚠️

Today, officers witnessed a rider using a pit bike/scrambler along a popular public footpath, putting pedestrians and walkers at risk. ❌🏍️

The vehicle was seized under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002 🚔, and the rider has been dealt with accordingly. ✅

We will continue to take robust action against those using off-road bikes illegally and encourage anyone with information about nuisance or dangerous riding to report it to police. 📞👮‍♂️
